The rooms were not cleaned well. It looked like blood spatter on the back of curtains. The air conditioner unit had so much piled up dust in it that when I first turned it on it sprayed me with dust. The fridge wasn't plugged in because the cord was all the way tucked behind the big counter so we had to move it near an actual plug. But the customer service was really good.
The front desk woman was nice. The room was clean. The door had to be slammed to shut because the handle wouldn't turn from the out side
Was nice for an overnight stay long term I'm not sure if it would be suitable.
The room was more than i expected for what i paid for, the check in women were sweet, and everything was better than i hoped for. Will Definitely come back again.
Quaint little hotel. Spent our wedding night here. Was happy with the service
Location is right off the expressway but it's pretty quite. Rooms are fair at best but service in the afternoon and evenings is really good. Not sure about the mornings. Never had a reason to complain about service here. The rooms themselves though are a different story. Never filthy but not spotless either and in need of some renovation. Police in the area are like the Gestapo. Stopped me on my way in after being out late and interrogated me like I was a murder suspect. On private property that is bad form. Shame shame. Management allowing them to do so is intolerable. I've been here many times and now I'm not sure if I'll go back.
Nice staff. Rooms out dated. Rooms not super clean but they were clean enough to be comfortable in. Miniature fridge holds only 12 cans.
This place was crazy. My wife and a coworker were traveling to the Detroit area for business, and wanted a cheaper place to stay. The price was advertised as $42 per night, no refunds. The pictures online made the place look pretty nice, so we went for it. When we arrived, we were shocked. The place was in fairly rough shape from the outside. The lady who greeted us was pleasant, but there was a drunk guy (at 4pm) cussing at her because he was out of ice for his cocktails. It all went downhill from there. The rooms clearly hadn't been cleaned in a while. We found hair in the bathrooms, coffee stains on the wall, and unknown stains on the floor. Our coworker said he lifted the mattress, and found an old notepad and wads of hair under it. The rooms smelled like a mix of alcohol and weed. Fortunately, we WERE able to get a refund. The clerk indicated that the cleaning issues had been a problem for a while. I would not recommend staying at this place.
Where to begin. Drugged out man being beligerent in the check-in area, nothing that was the fault of the hotel but still not great. Bed sheets were DEFINITELY not cleaned from the previous guest (food crumbs and hair everywhere), and there were 4 dead cockroaches under the mattress. 3/5 lights didn't work, 5am wakeup call didn't come until 6:30am, cigarette burns in the bedding, strong cigarette smell. TERRIBLE HOTEL, avoid at all costs, don't disregard this comment I wish someone would have warned me so please heed my warning!
Horrible experience. Came to Michigan for the first time with my boyfriend, when checking in we asked for a wake up call that we never got. And went to the front desk an hour after we checked in to get more shampoo and conditiner but the woman got mad that I was asking her for anything and she then threw shampoo and conditioner at me through the window. Without saying anything to me, seemed to be her tablet was more important than her job. Will never stay here again.
