Im giving 4 stars only because of Dave. I want to rate a 1 star based on the treatment i received from Troy. You couldn't possibly have two different people working there. I have been renting here about 2 years now. Dave is always so helpful and pleasant. You know when he is working because he is always whistling while he is walking down the halls. He makes it a point to come check on you. I dont know if he is the owner or the manager but he absolutely should be. He knows how to treat customers. Dave is ALWAYS this pleasant and helpful he is a real gem. If you guys lose him you will surely lose tenants. As for Troy he is rude talks down to you and basically calls you a liar when trying to talk to him about a near 100% rent increase. I pay $88 a month for the last year and my rate got jumped to $154. When I asked why the jump was so much he barked thats the market rate. He then tells me i should check prices at one of his sister locations they would laugh at me if i tried to rent my size locker for less than $154. He than tells me if i leave anyone who walks in the door will take my locker for $154 gladly. Perhaps this attitude is why there are so many empty lockers. After a few nasty exchanges from him he tells me he is going to cut me a huge break and only hike my rent up to $124 plus taxes instead of $154 but that is the absolute lowest he is doing take it or leave it. Because the next guy will pay $154. Dave never would have spoken to me or anyone this way. I should have left from that treatment alone. But instead i moved out of that 10x15 and moved into the same size unit 2 isles over for $66 a month. literally $22 a month cheaper than i have been paying all year. Now after 4 months i expect that rate too will jump up and this is the game you must play. I would probably stay forever in the $100 or less a month rate but if my rates goes over $100 i will sadly be leaving. If you want to keep these lockers full leave Dave in charge of the place and keep Troy away from customers. I see there are other reviews mentioning his poor customer service. Trust me your losing customers due to this guy. I dont know if you monitor the phone calls but Saturday when we walked in Troy was on the phone giving some other customer hell you should review calls to see how he talks to people. He definitely thinks he is the Storage god. Treat people like people its that simple.
The cleanest storage unit I've been in! There are actual employees on site to help you out with any questions you may have. They were very knowledgeable and professional. Our rental experience is great. I highly recommend Extra Space Storage at the Galleria to anyone that needs a rental unit. May I add that David is the best, he made the process easy peasy.
This is my second time using Extra Space Storage at the York Galleria location. It is clean, spacious and has all the equipment needed to have a smooth transition. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I was greeted and thanked by the assistant manager David, who was truly sweet and helpful. I would recommend this location to everyone! Thank you!
This is the third state we lived in and have used Extra Space Storage. They have not disappointed us yet! This location in York, PA has been great. Finding a climate-controlled unit here has been hard. We wanted something closer, but the options were very limited and very expensive. We decided it was worth the drive. They were quick to respond, and they gave us a great introductory deal (almost half the price of anywhere else we looked at). We are, once again, extremely pleased with Extra Space Storage.
